Israeli Army Fire Kills Two Palestinians in Gaza

(MENAFN) Two Palestinians were killed by Israeli army fire in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, pushing the overall death toll since the start of the war in October 2023 to 72,553, according to the Health Ministry on Monday.

In its daily update, the ministry reported that hospitals received two bodies and 22 injured individuals within the same period.

While the ministry did not detail the circumstances surrounding the latest fatalities, it stated that Israeli forces have continued what it described as violations of the ceasefire in effect since October 2025, including shelling and gunfire that have resulted in casualties.

It added that 777 Palestinians have been killed and 2,193 others wounded since the ceasefire began.

The total number of injured since October 2023 has now reached 172,296, the ministry said.
