IDF Murders One Palestinian in N. Gaza Strike Amid Ongoing Truce Violations

(MENAFN) A Palestinian man was killed and several others were injured on Saturday following an Israeli drone strike that hit a motorcycle near the western side of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, according to reports.

Eyewitnesses said the strike targeted the motorcycle in an area located west of the camp, outside designated zones of Israeli military deployment under the existing ceasefire arrangement.

A medical source identified the victim as Eyad al-Motawwaq, while confirming that multiple other individuals were wounded, though the exact number was not immediately specified.

Witnesses also reported separate Israeli artillery fire in the eastern parts of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City. No immediate casualties were confirmed in that incident.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, approximately 850 Palestinians have been killed and 2,433 injured since the ceasefire came into effect, with authorities describing repeated violations of the agreement.

The ceasefire was established following a prolonged conflict that began in October 2023. Reports indicate that the war and its aftermath have resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and widespread destruction across Gaza’s infrastructure.
