Israeli Strikes Kill Four More Palestinians in Gaza
The office said the attack hit a work post operated by the Economy Ministry in the al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah. Four government employees were killed and 30 others wounded in the strike.
The latest figures mark an increase from Wednesday, when medical sources told Turkish media that three people had been killed and 15 injured in the attack on the same facility.
Describing the incident, the government media office called it “a new crime and a horrific massacre” targeting civilian public-sector workers.
According to the office, the employees were inspecting goods entering Gaza through the Kerem Shalom crossing to verify their suitability for use and prevent the smuggling of drugs and other prohibited materials.
The office accused Israel of targeting government teams and civilian employees as part of an “organized campaign by Israel to undermine government institutions and push the territory toward chaos and lawlessness.”
The strike occurred amid what the office described as daily Israeli violations of a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on Oct. 10, 2025.
Since the truce began, Israeli violations have killed 1,568 Palestinians and injured another 5,648, according to the statement.
Since October 2023, Israel’s war on Gaza has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and wounded over 175,000, while causing extensive devastation across the enclave. Approximately 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure has been affected by the destruction.
