New Israeli Attack Kills Palestinian, Injures Eleven in Southern Gaza
A medical source at Kuwait Hospital in Khan Younis confirmed that the casualties were caused by an Israeli strike targeting an area west of the city.
The attack reportedly hit a group of Palestinians gathered outside the entrance of the University College in al-Mawasi, according to eyewitness accounts.
Gaza's Interior Ministry said Israeli aircraft had targeted several officers and members of the Internal Security Service in the area, resulting in the deaths and injuries.
The incident marked the second attack against police personnel in Gaza within three days. A similar Israeli strike in Khan Younis on Sunday killed six policemen.
The latest assault adds to a series of reported violations of the truce, which took effect on Oct. 10, 2025.
Gaza's Health Ministry reported that Israeli fire has killed at least 1,599 Palestinians and injured another 5,774 since the ceasefire began.
The agreement followed two years of Israeli military operations in Gaza that began in October 2023 and left more than 74,000 Palestinians dead and over 175,000 wounded.
